What you buy

The Stick AI is a USB drive with a private AI assistant on it. You pay once and the drive is yours. There is no subscription, no account and no sign-in. The software on the drive is yours to use on any compatible PC for as long as you like.

The AI runs on the PC the drive is plugged into. It does not need the internet to work. Two optional features use the internet when you allow it: live internet search and updates.

Updates

Software and Knowledge Pack updates are free and optional. The drive checks for them only when you ask, and installs only what is signed and what you approve.

Live internet search and fair use

Live internet search is provided for ordinary interactive use of The Stick AI. It is included for normal personal use; we do not charge per search. Fair-use limits are applied per internet connection.

Multiple devices using the same internet connection may share the same allowance. If you regularly use multiple Sticks from the same location, contact us so we can review the appropriate allowance.

We may apply reasonable rate limits or temporarily restrict search access where usage is automated, excessive, abusive, disruptive or materially exceeds normal personal use. When a limit applies, the assistant tells you plainly, live search comes back automatically, and everything else on the drive keeps working.

To keep the service working for everyone, please do not use it, or help anyone else use it, for:

• bots, scripts or other automated querying;
• scraping or harvesting results from our search service;
• bulk or high-volume querying beyond ordinary personal use;
• reselling, sharing or offering the search service as part of another product;
• attempts to bypass rate limits or other protections;
• anything malicious, or anything that degrades the service for other people.

Search results come from a commercial web-search provider and from the websites it indexes. Those websites own their content; the assistant cites the pages it used so you can read the source.

Privacy

Your documents, notes, memory and conversations stay on the drive. What a search sends, what our hosting infrastructure receives, and what this website collects are set out in the privacy statement.

Sensible limits

The assistant is a compact AI model. It can be wrong, and it says so when it is unsure. Please check anything that matters before you rely on it, especially figures, legal, medical or financial matters. To the extent the law allows, The Stick AI is provided as described on this site, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its answers.

Changes and contact
